Every Memory Deserves Respect by Michael Baldwin and Deborah Korn, PsyD

I love this book because it is written from both a client and therapist perspective. It breaks down what trauma is and how it affects your mind, body, brain. Michael Baldwin talks about his experience of going through EMDR, and Deborah Korn, PsyD shares her experience of doing EMDR with her clients along with how this treatment is set up. There is a warning at the beginning for where the heaviest parts are in the book. It can be read at your own pace. I think this would be really helpful for anyone that might be apprehensive about EMDR treatment.
